The sun was Very Bright in the midwest today ... I should have kept my Ray Bans on!  Photo taken outside an antique shop located along an Interstate Highway north of my "Smallville" location.

  2. So nice to meet you. I'm glad you stopped by my blog. I'm from a very small town in the midwest myself. Moved to Seattle about 6 years ago. So much less judgement fashion-wise in this area. One of the things I love about it. Everybody is free to dress in their own style...whatever that may be.
Love the red, the print of your pants and the statement necklace. Great outfit and you look amazing! Will look forward to more. :)

    1. Hello Lisa. As a former smallville midwesterner, I'm certain you understand that "only the young" seem to have permission to don the unconventional and express themselves with clothing; but even they can go too far! ;)

  3. I think your formatting is fine - nicely done. :)

I really like your outfit - the necklace goes nicely with the bracelet and love the shoes. I like your bold but unfussy look.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your nice comment.

  5. Welcome to the blogging world. Don't worry about formatting, just enjoy meeting other women who are also kicking & screaming our way into the senior years. You look absolutely great in that outfit. I look forward to seeing more such outfits in the future. Just curious about which small midwest town you live in. My son lives in Granger, IN. We love visiting that part of the country.

    1. Thank you for the encouragement. Your son and I are almost neighbors. ;) I'm in Illinois, but he is actually closer to Chicago than I.

  8. So nice to meet you, and glad you decided to show up and out at Visible Monday. You'll like it here.
I'm pretty sure we live in similar places. I'm down here in Bumfuzzle, Nowhere in a very rural area. The fashion police are all at Dunkin' all the time and it shows.
We're close in age ... I'm your senior just a bit. I can tell you with confidence that you look very pretty in your casuals. So great to see women in garments that fit! And your shoes are quite perfect. Especially love the very cool chain at your neck.
